Pastor Alena
Lamirato
Pastor Alena is a Colorado native who grew up at Advent and served as the volunteer youth director for 8 years. She received her Master's of Divinity degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg in 2007. Her first call was at Alma in Meade, Nebraska. While she was there, she also picked up Ebensburg in the neighboring town of Malmo. She left her two-point call and went to Buffalo, Wyoming, to serve St. Luke's in 2012. In 2017, she took a call at Peace in Christ, an Episcopal and Lutheran congregation, in Elizabeth, Colorado. While she was there, she worked on her Doctor of Ministry degree and graduated in 2025. Her doctoral focus was on Spirituality and she did research on why people are done with the Church. She has a book published on her findings, Done with the Church: Examination of Dones in Elbert County, Colorado, Using Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and Monster Theory.
Cindy
Lindholm
Cindy serves as both the Office Administrator and Technology/Social Media Coordinator at Advent. Cindy is a life long Lutheran. She grew up in Deerfield IL, attended Carthage College in Kenosha WI. Cindy has been a member of Advent for over 20 years. Her daughter grew up here at Advent. Cindy enjoys reading, taking long walks while listening to audiobooks, exploring new restaurants and historic small towns. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
