God's Work, Our Hands Sunday

After the service, everyone is invited to stay for an hour or two to help with service projects, followed by a potluck. Project 1: Repackaging bulk rice into smaller packages for the Growing Home food pantry. Project 2: Collecting and sorting greeting cards for New Beginnings Ministry. If you or your friends have unused greeting cards, please bring them! Project 3: Assembling Solar Kits for distribution to areas that don’t have electricity. We also need some people to write short notes to go with the kits. Please sign up in the narthex for project you want to do and for the potluck. If you have questions, contact Joan LaRose.

We meet at 10 am in the Fireside Lounge and use the Bible study from the Gather magazine as the basis of our study. We have extra study material if you don't have a subscription.

August Recycling Project - Prescription Bottles!

The Green Team is collecting prescription bottles that can't be recycled in household recycling through the end of August. Please remove or blacken out the prescription label information and then put them into the small bin on the side counter in the narthex. Also: save your wine bottle corks for September's recycling project.
