Annual LaRose BBQ
The annual LaRose barbeque will be held at Tom and Joan’s house on Saturday, 7/11 at 5 pm. The LaRoses will provide burgers and brats, condiments, iced tea, adn water. Please bring a side or dessert to share, and beverage ofyour choice. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex. Maps to their home are available next to the sign-up sheet.

Rocky Mountain Arsenal Field Trip
We will meet at Advent at 4:30 pm and head to dinner at the Wishbone and then return to Advent at 6 pm for anyone who would like to carpool. There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex for anyone interested.

Advent School Supply Drive
Help support our annual school supply drive for Gregory Hills Learning Center! Donations can be left in the brightly colored box in the narthex. If you’d rather make a monetary donation, please indicate School Supply Drive on your check or envelope. SUPPLIES NEEDED: · washable markers · watercolor paints · playdough · pencil boxes · bottles of glue · glue sticks · dry erase markers (thin) · safety scissors · colored pencils · crayons · facial tissue · hand sanitizer · paper towels · Ziploc bags (quart and gallon) · child size backpacks

Women's Bible Study
Enjoy a cup of coffee with the women of Advent while discussing Bible studies from the Gather magazine. We meet at Advent at 10 am. If you haven't subscribed to the magazine, we will have a couple of extra copies available.

Advent Field Trip to Sand Creek Massacre Historical Site
We're taking a field trip to the Sand Creek Massacre Historical Site. We will leave at 9 am on Friday, 7/24 and return Saturday, 7/25. Our trip will also include visiting Bent's Old Fort National Historical Site and Amache National Historical Site. If interested, please sign up on the board in the narthex and watch the weekly email for more information.

West Denver Lutheran Men's BBQ
The event will take place at Holy Cross Lutheran Church (4500 Wadsworth Blvd, Wheat Ridge) at 4:30 p.m. Hawaiian shirts are encouraged. We need to give them a count of our attendees by 7/13, so tell Denny Thompson if you are interested, or click here to email him.

Denver Summit Soccer Game Field Trip
Come see the Denver Summit Women’s Professional Football (soccer) Club take on the Chicago Stars at the temporary Centennial Stadium at Potomac Park in Centennial. Tickets are $48 each, and there is a sign-up in the Narthex. Please contact Lin for questions.
